A full-time role, based in Shoreditch. 

Grind is a hospitality company that lives in London. Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, the brand has expanded across London with restaurants and café-bars, burning the candle at both ends to serve coffee, food and cocktails to a killer soundtrack. As well as a state-of-the-art recording studio, we have a coffee roastery in Grind HQ in Shoreditch.

2018 was a big year for us. We closed out 2017 with a record-breaking crowdfunding campaign, raising £2m in under a week to continue our expansion - and in 2018 we did. We opened the huge Greenwich Grind, our biggest restaurant to date and a runaway success, signed a franchise deal to open in travel locations, and launched our Grind at Home collection online. We already know that 2019 will be even bigger, and we’d like you to be a part of it.

We’re looking for someone self-motivated, innovative and creative to join us at Grind HQ in Shoreditch, where they’ll be shaping the future of the Grind brand alongside us. The ideal candidate is proactive, organised and autonomous - able to leverage strong skills in image and video production to produce engaging content for all of our channels. They’re ambitious, joining a small team with a start-up mentality. They probably drink a lot of coffee.

- Work closely with the rest of the in house Creative team to drive and build the Grind brand through the development of engaging creative content.
- Work closely with brand partners to plan and execute campaigns in line with our brand guidelines.
- Produce engaging visual content for digital and print, playing a key role in shaping the future of the Grind brand.
- Produce editorial content for proactive and reactive email marketing campaigns, and working to grow our database.
- Produce concise, engaging short-form and long-form copy, often to immediate deadlines.

- Two years experience in a comparable role.
- Creative energy, confidence and self-motivation.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with video production and editing - Premiere or AfterEffects - strongly preferred
- Professionally or personally active on social media, demonstrating a strong visual sensibility.
- An understanding of the role that visual content and brand plays in shaping food and beverage trends.
- A modern communicator with an interest in digital technology.
- High quality of short and long form written communication.
- Organised, proactive and autonomous.
