This can range from individual coffee carts all the way through to fully managed pop-up style sites. Over the years we have worked with Facebook, Twitter, Nike, Youtube, London Fashion Week, Ted Baker, New Look, and many others.

The role will involve overseeing all aspects of coffee-related events, including:

  1. Managing all inbound enquiries and helping to drive events sales

  2. Overseeing the logistical components of the events (set up/close down)

  3. Organising all event operations including staffing & supplies.

  4. Continuing business development and existing client relations will also play an important role in this position.

You will be working closely with our Operations team and existing Events team to book and execute events. The role is incredibly diverse, flexible and is constantly evolving, with events happening all over the world – we can guarantee no two working weeks will be the same!

Who are we?

Grind & Co is a group of cafe & cocktails bars, and restaurants in London, with sites currently spanning across East and Central London and rapidly growing with 10 locations to date!

At Grind we serve fresh seasonal produce, alongside our coffee which is roasted daily in our Shoreditch roastery. All of our locations have a killer cocktail menu, including our famous Espresso Martini.

Required skills:

  • We’re after super slick customer service skills with a personal approach in building strong partnerships and customer relationships.

  • Experience of working in events or business development environment.

  • You’ll need a UK driver’s license and be fully comfortable driving a van in central London and beyond (but don’t worry, you’ll get to pick the tunes!)

  • We want to see high levels of autonomy and organization - we’re a supportive bunch at HQ, but we look for entrepreneurial approaches to work and people who bring their best every day, set out their goals and work their hardest to achieve them.

  • You will need to have a solid grasp of basic IT. We are a very tech-focused company, and all of our internal systems and procedures use one app. or another. A basic knowledge of Excel would not hurt at all.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working within a target driven sales environment.

  • Existing events databases and client relationships you feel confident bringing to the role.

  • Experience working within coffee would be a bonus, but certainly not essential
